Is there a way of blending a TB of Coconut O. in salads?

Hi There,

Sorry if this has been discussed before , I can't find it.

Anyhow, I'm trying to put a tablespoon of coconut oil in a green salad. The minute it hits the salad which is cool it solidifies.

Just bought the oil, so I'm experimenting. I would like the CO to replace my salad dressings that I have twice a day.

Thank you

You could try MCT oil, as it stays liquid at cooler temps,
I used it in iced coffee.
It is similar to CO, but not identical.

You might also try macadamia nut oil for salads. It also has medium chain triglycerides and is very healthy, more so than olive oil. Can't use for heating. I like the taste.

Don't know if this would work for salid dressing but I looked up a receipie for
mayonaise that used 1/3 cup coconut oil and 2/3 cup olive oil.

I use coconut oil mixed with olive oil for salads. Once they are mixed together, the coconut oil will stay liquid.
