Pizza delivery on the way

My husband has been craving pizza for weeks... Hardcore and my attempts at lc versions didn't cut it. It's an extra day off for him we have been doing so well and lost a lot. So I ordered him the damn thing. It won't kill either of us but how bad will it be? My calories for the day are about 800 less tha. Ten g carbs... I'm within ten lbs of goal and never ever cheat. Ever. I'm not worried about the hubby because his weight falls off. He can be pretty liberal with carbs and still stay on track . I'm not sure i will have a slice I don't really feel hungry but if I do how bad will it be? I know I shouldn't but ... It's been almost three months without bread pasta rice taters and pizza. No fruit or sweets... Is it terrible to have a cheat meal every once in a while?

Pizza guts!

That's what I call it....I scrape the stuff off and eat it. No stalls etc. No meatballs but the rest is fine.

IMO, yes, some can have the occasional treat meal, including me. Been on this woe for almost 8 months, lost a lot of weight, and HAVE had the occasional treat meal, or on vacation, several of them. I have been able to get back on plan immediately thereafter and of course "occasional" does not mean every couple of days, lol.

Some here find that going off plan is not worth it for a variety of reasons. It's all very individual, and something we all need to experiment with. IF you can maintain happily w/out going off plan, then why not do that?

OTOH, IF you're the kind of person that needs to know there will be a time in life to enjoy the carbs you love but have given up for the most part, then you find out how often you can do that w/out sabotaging yourself or losing ground.

I picked off some pepperoni and called it a night. I wasn't even hungry anyways and it wasn't worth feeling sick in the morning or triggering disordered eating. I have my dog the crust

On the rare occasions that we order pizza, I eat just the toppings. I have just started to introduce bread into my LC. Found a bread made with cereal flours, high protein, high fibre, no sugar or fat added and only 8 gr carbs per slice. Have one slice maybe 2 - 3 times a month and one of those times I put pizza toppings on top and have it for lunch with a salad.
I am not a junk food person and I know my weight gain was from big portions and pasta, How I loved my pasta but now I love Dreamfields once a wk.

What have been your attempts at LC pizza? I make pizza using a recipe on LindaSue's website, and my whole family (non-LC'ers) loves it!

If you can keep at that and not get triggered into more.....you know how it is...sneaks in ..a little here a little there...and before you know it....

I love pizza, I hate the pizza commercials with the mozzarella dripping off the slice...I can't resist the smell of pizza either. I'd propably take pizza over sweets...
