Starving. What should I eat next??

The last two days my schedule has been crazy. I haven't had access to the normal foods I eat.

Today I have eaten all my carbs and protein but I'm starving. I'm in ketosis but I didn't eat as much fat as usual.

What should I try eating to help me??

The last time I had a day like that it was because of low fat intake. I was not satisfied until I had a mixture of cream cheese, peanut butter and butter (like a fat bomb). Once I ate that, I felt a ton better!! Try to find something fatty that you love.

I agree. You need to find something fatty.

Starving? How many calories are you eating a day? If you are starving there is something really wrong with your nutrition plan, unless you have low body fat and are seriously undereating. Can you give a sample of you ate this day?

I would suggest eggs as well. Maybe scramble a couple with hwc and add a pat of butter to the top when cooked. The carbs are very low and this is a very satisfying meal.

If I have had my carb and protein limit for the day, I usually whip up some coffee with butter and cream.

When I'm truly starving the only thing that really hits the spot is a tablespoon of crunchy peanut butter. Nuts are a huge downfall of mine, I seriously could eat them all day long so I really have to limit them but with severe hunger they really work.

**this would obviously not be a good choice if all of your carbs have been used up.

For lower carb I would agree with the others, eggs cooked in butter or even coconut oil.

I too avoid nuts as much as possible, but they are a place to turn in a hunger emergency. Or even a tablespoon of CO or butter can help.

Cheese and nuts are problematic and cause me to want to eat more and more.

It can take a while to ride out the hunger problem caused by it.

Sometimes a nice hunk of Kerrygold butter can kill it. Yep, just plain!
