Hi there,

Has anyone hiked up their grams in carbs because they are working out? I know Dr. Atkins had mentioned that if you are working out, you can afford more carbs. I was just wondering. I plan on doing some kick boxing (TurboFire to be exact) and was just wondering if anyone was successful leaning out with exercise while allowing more carbs.

I up my protein, not my carbs when i am vigorously working out.

It's called "carb cycling" but I think it's more for weight training than cardio. I have never used it. I always notice increased workout performance (strength/endurance) when I am low carbing, so personally I don't find a need for it, but YMMV.
