spinoff: I have a question Instead of asking?

So as not to threadjack.
Instead of asking would you complain?

I called Pizza hut yesterday since we had a bogo coupon for a personal pan pizza. I asked them if they could make a crustless one for me. She said yes.

My DH picked it up and brought it home. They had not sprayed the pan and the toppings and cheese were so melted and stuck I couldn't get the toppings off. Believe me I tried! I tried to scrape off what I could but nothing would come off.

I just told me husband I won't ask that again ever! But if you go to places like Cici's pizza they make one perfect.

yes, complain. at least a few people might be trained on how to do it. and they should give you a replacement too, in an ideal world!

I never knew you could request such a thing.

I wouldn't "complain" but recommend they train all of their employees on the correct practice.

Good Luck

If they had sprayed the pan and put down a layer first of sauce I think it would have been much better.

I have been requesting my sandwich be put in a container. I have gotten subs from Subbies, Papa Johns, Marco's, and even last night a Sonic cheeseburger.

YES, you should complain. Call and ask for the manager. Just tell him what happened and I think he or she will give you a free pizza and they should.

I cant picture this, but I am very interested. What was it stuck to? Did they send a pan home?

It was a aluminum pie pan that had a card board circle on top.

we just got back from Pizza hut and I spoke with the waitress who told me that when ordering these take out they always stick no matter how much they spray it. Seems like you could tell the customer this before ordering it.

She made me one in a glass dish and it was nice. Rather saucy but at least it wasn't stuck.

didn't give me any discounts though on the ruined one. We got the wednesday night buffet

I never knew they could make a crustless pizza either! So cool!

If you have a Cici's pizza they make an awesome one. The one at Pizza Hut that they made me tonight was really nice but we ate in.

Thanks Skeeter. I am all over that!

That's really cool, but isn't the sugar in the Pizza Hut sauce over-the-top?

Have no idea. Didn't taste sweet so I don't know.

Just saw how long you've been LC'ing...I'll shut my big mouth now

Any people schlepping to their goal (as I am): there's a lot of sugar in most commercial spaghetti/pizza sauce mixes. :p

DiamondDeb 09-18-2013 08:01 PM

Definitely let them know it was not acceptable. If they don't know there is a problem they can't fix it.

I used to get a bowl of toppings at Cici's (learned about that here!) when I still ate dairy. It was better than pizza. Got my non-LC co-workers ordering it, too.

Thanks for the information, had no clue they would do this. :)
