I thought it was funny that the anchorwoman at the end says "Slow and steady wins the race." 88 lbs lost in one year is over 7lbs per month. That's NOT Slow!

Yes! Very cool. What a great keepsake of her loss.

I wish I had thought to take photos like that.

Cool! I started taking full-body progres pics in February so hopefully I will have something that dramatic someday. Love how they say she is on a "high protein diet". In the video they showed her preparing salami and cheese to eat. I wonder if "high protein" is a code word for "low carb" without having to say it.

Excellent post!
Her body changes are remarkable, but I really love the
change in her facial expression. You can see the self esteem
growing with every shot.
Great stuff.

Yeah, I noticed the "high protein" thing too. I wish these media outlets would learn the difference between low carb and high protein.

The comments section was amazing, with everyone assuming she has so much more willpower and confidence now that's she's skinny.

This is what the woman in the video had to say about productions slant and "creative interpretation"
As suspected, it's been edited a lot, but I'm a little disappointed in how my diet was portrayed. I was very clear during the interview that Keto is a high fat and moderate protein diet, but the voice over said I followed a "high protein" diet. Sigh. I guess the world isn't quite ready for the glorious bacon-fueled truth.
EDIT 2: Leave it to Jezebel to cover my photos and highlight the faults of the GMA segment by citing this very thread, all with plenty of snark left over Thanks, Kate Dries!
EDIT 3: INSANE props to The Daily Mail for absolutely nailing it with comprehensive coverage and -gasp- research?! Seriously. Give these guys some love.

I made the mistake of looking at the comments in the Jezebel article (if you follow the reddit thread, its linked there).

All I can say is

So basically on a HFLC diet, we should all expect to die in about 20 years.

I'll gladly prove them wrong
