Its September! How did you do last month??

A new month begins, and a new focus for all of us. I LOVE Fall, so I'm excited. Its my favorite season.

Last month was a good one - I had hoped to lose 10 pounds, and I lost 9, with 7 of that being in the last week! Feelling very good about that, and hoping to keep the momentum going through September with at least another 10 pounds. I plan to eat clean, keep carbs at a minimum, and stay positive.

How did you do, and what are your goals for Sept?

Overall, from August 1 to August 31, I lost 14 pounds. Not stellar but I'll take it!

I lost two pounds. It was a month of questioning whether I needed to make adjustments, as 4/month is my average. I finally broke a threshold this week, however, so I'll just stay the course for now and reevaluate if September is another sluggish month. Either way, it's still a loss and this is a way of life, not a diet!

I'm thrilled for those of you who can lose 10+ pounds in a month. That must be incredibly gratifying!

Good Job Everyone! I have a bouncing 4-5 pound weight loss for the last month. Pounds are coming off really slow but they are coming off. The best part is I have lost over 50 pounds now. Husband who has cheated quite often but lots of farm work manual labor this summer has lost 20.

Don't tell anyone, but we both had to go buy new underwear as we decided we looked ridiculously bad hitching up our old ones all the time.

Hey dgidaho! Looks like we started this new way of life eating about the same time. It looks like you joined Low Carb Friends sooner, but we seem to have close to the same number of posts. I lurked and benefitted from everyone's stories for some time before I figured out how to join. Then promptly couldn't figure out my password to log in again and had to ask for another.

Just wanted to say a quick hello!

It sounds like everyone had a great month!

I have a love/hate relationship with the first of the month. It is the day I take measurements & do calculations to see how my fat loss progress is going. It can be time-consuming but it is worth it.

I had a great month. From August 1 to September 1 I lost 11.375 total inches!

Unfortunately only half an inch of that was off my bust. It does, however, explain why the new top I want to wear is still a wee bit snug through the bust while it is getting loose around the waist & hips.

I don't have scale or number based goals but I hope my boobs take a hint & start to catch up with the rest of me again this month! For a while I was going through bra sizes about every other month.

My plan for September is just to keep doing what I'm doing, eat healthy, and shake it up a bit with my workouts. The fat won't have a choice but to melt way!

I am down 6 pounds for the month and 28 pounds since I started my new woe on May 25, 2013. I would like to lose faster but I just checked my daily numbers and I seem to lose about a pound every 3-4 days. I will take that.

I think I am down a pant size since I started but I haven't bought any new clothes. I am just wearing my looser fitting clothes and being more comfy in them. I am starting to clean out my closet and getting rid of some of my tops that are just too baggy to be flattering.

Down 18 pounds since August 5th. I've been paused for the last week or so as my body adjusts. I hope the scale starts moving again soon!

The weight is coming down slow but am satisfied with 4 lbs. for August.
I should up my fats as everyone is doing but I am scared as every time I eat more fat I gain. So I will stay with the way I have been eating, full fats foods but not extra fats

I lost 8 lbs. in August for a total of 75 lbs. lost in 9.5 months. I was very happy with that especially since I was visiting my parents' house for two weeks. I also can now fit into 1X/size 20 for most clothes. And so I bought some new ones last weekend.

I lost 8-9 Lbs. I started LC again the 2nd week of August. Initially I lost 6 in the first week. My scale just bobs around depressingly...

Off and on vacay and visiting out of town, birthdays and parties, I assumed I had put on some weight. Imagine zipping up the old size 12 pants when I thought I should have hunted down the 16's and having them fit. I checked the label twice Well I needed that- relief. Beginning my 10,000 step program today- starting with 4,000 today....work up to 10,000 in a week. No problem except had badly sprained ankle 2 years ago acts up from time to time. Will take it low and slow this week. Geared up and way ready for cooler weather.

Imagine my surprise when I cut egg yolks for 10 days and my arthritic knees and fingers felt better Now doing whites and some Eggbeaters with only one or 2 eggs a week (down from 12). My fave food Well, that's life.

Wow! Looks like August was a great month here at LCF.
As for me, I maintained so all is good.
I haven't fluctuated more than a couple of pounds in a couple of months, and I've stayed just below my goal weight the whole time.
I think I've got a handle on what I can and can't do to keep on a level course.
I'm going up North for a week, darling son is getting married, but I expect to keep at this same level, or close enough.
Let's all have a great September.

I lost 4 pounds.
I lost 2 inches from my bust, which I'm happy about.
I learned my carb level for losing.
I added a couple of OWL foods to my allowed list.
I continued to control my eating disorder behaviors.

Gained and lost the same ten pounds almost twice. Planning to stay consistent this month. I MUST lose 5 more pounds to fit my fall jeans.
