Ten Week Check-In

Today starts my 11th week of low carbing. I was successful a decade ago with losing and maintaining on low carb, although I slowly gained 10 lbs back after a few years. Then I developed an eating disorder and gained from 138 to 179 in less than 2 years.

I lost 9 lbs in the first week--- I was very carby because of my night eating disorder choices. Afterwards, I had some slow weeks and I had some okay weeks.

I am on my way towards mastering my carb addiction/night eating and I have not slipped at all on the compulsion for six weeks.

I try to stay mindful of crafting a sustainable plan so that I can keep it as a part of my lifestyle from now on.

I am consistently making good food choices and I do not crave things or feel deprived with my meals. I am satisfied on a reasonable amount of food, and I am developing a normal hunger signal instead of getting grumpy or jittery when it's time for a meal.

I have lost 20.6 pounds and a clothing size. I have lost 2 1/2 inches from my bust, 2 1/2 from my waist, and 3 from my hips.

I feel well and I am satisfied with my rate of 2 lbs lost per week.

I am grateful and optimistic. I believe that I will, in time, lose the remainder of my excess weight, about 30 more pounds.
Keep calm and carry on.

Job well done so far...keep up the good work and thanks for all your helpful insight...at least you caught your problem and are dealing with it before it goes too far. It takes a very STRONG person to admit they are not perfect and can mess up...it takes a BRAVE person to admit it and do something about it.

More important than the weight loss...all those changes you've made to understand about your eating and changing habits so that even when the weight is off, you're set for keeping it off.

WTG Emel! Keep up the very good work!
