It's hard to tell. There are a lot of factors that can influence how fast or slow you lose weight but let's start with your diet. Post a sample (including amounts) of what you're eating during the day. Sometimes the hidden carbs add up quickly so even though you think you are only eating a few vegies, you may still be eating too many carbs.

In my experience, the first week had the greatest wt loss. That slowed considerably the second week. It took a while for my body to catch up. Weeks 3&4 didn't show much loss either.
Slow and steady wins the race. Be patient. Your hard work will pay off.

The post induction stall is a common thing. When you first enter ketosis, your body loses water from the glycogen stores which are needed only when you're not in ketosis, which can be a dramatic loss. After that, the body is losing actual fat, which is a much slower process, and often there's a pause before it shows on the scale. If you're eating what you should, you're still losing fat, but it doesn't always show as scale loss. I suggest you measure yourself, or try on some clothes, because you may be losing inches during this time.

What does your diet look like, what plan are you following, and how long have you eaten this way?

WOE: Modified Atkins extended induction
Start Date: May, 26 2013
It depends on the person...
I did not lost a pound in the first 3-4 weeks of induction, and then I started to lose an average of 2 pounds per week...

WOE: Atkins - it's a diet
It depends. How long has it been since you lost those 5 pounds? If it's just been a week then I say it's normal (and it's still a 2.5 pound loss per week). If it's been three weeks, then I would look at your diet.
