I've got some Just like Sugar. Love it. Too expensive to use lots of, but it is nice to finally have something to sweeten chocolate that doesn't make it bitter (sucralose) or have a cooling effect (erythritol and xylitol). The brown version is pretty strong tasting, not that brown sugary, but as part of a mix of sweeteners makes the whole thing taste more sugar flavored. Seems to help texture in baked goods as well.

I like Just Like Sugar Brown, but I find myself annoyed by the company's marketing tactics. Rather than promoting their product, they seem much more interested in touting how 'evil' other products are....just not a fan of that particular strategy - steers me away from the company. On the other hand, I do like the product. Feels a bit...hypocritical?!

Thanks,I also noticed another bran Swerve.
What has been the effect of your insulin levels on these.Has anyone checked that?
I am usually skeptical of most products that make these claims .
Sweet Perfection says it won't spike your blood sugars.Has anyone checked that on themselves?
I still can't like stevia,so for a moment I thought maybe I found the perfect natural sweetener-or not

Swerve is erythritol mixed with FOS (same stuff as Just Like Sugar and Sweet Perfection). Seems a bit pricy for an erythritol blend to me. But I'd rather play mad scientist and mix them up myself.

As far as I can tell, JLS doesn't have much effect on blood sugar beyond whatever you've put it into. But I'm not diabetic and don't test consistantly. Quest bars are sweetened mostly with FOS and I don't think I've had more than a 20 point bump over 4 hours with one of those.
