I have on closet shorts fitting perfectly.

Ahhhhh I have resolved to wear a different outfit out of my "skinny clothes", everyday, even if I never leave the house.

This makes me smile all day, even on days when my scale has refused to go down.

Every time I look at myself I KNOW this way of eating is working and I do not become discouraged that the scale is stubborn!

Today I am wearing a pair of blue sailing shorts and a t shirt from my trip to Italy many years ago, 2005!

All joy; what are you wearing from your closet of skinny clothes today?

I carry my excess weight in my belly and on my behind.

I ran in to the thrift store yesterday but didn't find anything. An acquaintance was working in the store and I wanted to stop and speak to her. She had two shopping carts near her for restocking, making the aisle quite tight. I sashayed up the aisle and slipped right through the bottleneck. At my highest weight, I would have been too round to navigate the narrow space.

It was a very small thing, but it really made my day.

I love threads like these. I have a really beautiful wardrobe of sizes 2 and 4 in pants, skirts and shorts, and size small tops. I shop almost exclusively at thrift and consignment stores. (except for undies, pj's and bathing suits) I've been maintaing this size for close to a year now. I'm still a couple pounds from goal but if I never get there thats ok too. I'm happy with my size and I feel great.

I had to replace all my bras (too big) today. Not exactly the place on my body I'm most thrilled about losing weight, but I'll take it.

Also bought some really cute nighties! I've made the resolution that I'm never going to wear anything schlumpy and non-cute to bed again.

I discovered a pair of awesome dark-blue skinny jeans that I bought and never wore -- like 3 years ago! I want to fit in them comfortably by end of September.

I can wear my favorite shirt without looking prego (the style and fabric really show a belly).

I even wore them with my smaller capris that I didn't have to lie down and hold my breath til I black out in order to get them buttoned!
Yay me!!

Nice!

Lifetime goal: never wear anything else that makes me look pregnant, unless I am in fact pregnant at that time.

In the last year, at least 3 people have assumed I was (and every time a little part of me died). I used to get paranoid that security guards at banks would redirect me to the priority teller window.

In June, I bought skinny jeans that fit me perfectly. Now they are loose. Great feeling.

As for skirts and shirts, I am wearing all my old ones and they fit but are getting a bit loose.
Can't wait to go on a shopping spree. Not yet still need to loose.

Wow! everybody is rocking the NSVs!!!!

Well done and keep em coming!

I have another one too: My rings that were too tight to wear anymore fit again and I feel back to normal because of it! (I'm a bit of a magpie, love wearing lots of sparkly things, LOL) I was really getting worried that I'd have to get them made bigger again, after spending a fortune getting them made smaller, LOL!

Olive, that is great!!!! I'm at a point now where a lot of my jeans, especially, are getting really baggy but the next size down fits, but tightly. I did buy a pair of a style I like in that next size smaller. Will come and share when they fit perfectly

WTG, Phoebe!

Remember this day, too. It won't be long before you're realizing the pants you just got into are way too big to wear anymore!

I laughed out loud when I realized this one after the fact...

My mom pushed all my buttons yesterday and, driving home from her place, I found myself wanting comfort food. I just could not face eating the chicken I'd planned for dinner.

I stopped at the store & picked up a pound of grass-fed beef. Yep, that was what I wanted for comfort food!

That is what I call a great NSV! Grabbing some LC junk food never even occurred to me! LC/SF ice cream used to be my biggest temptation but it looks like I may be on my way to beating that.
