I was on a six week stall. I would fluctuate from 220 to 217, never going under 217. It was upsetting and a nightmare. I gave myself one more week on LC, then I was going to quit if I didn't lose some weight and try something else like weight watchers. So this morning I wake up and weigh myself (haven't weighed in a week), and I had a 3 pound whoosh, I weighed 214 exactly.
I am so happy. The difference I believe was I upped my fat this week. I had several people on this board tell me upping the fat would help and I think it did.
Anyways...thanks to all the people on this board who inspire and kept me going. This site has helped me out so much, and I appreciate everyone who posts here. Sometimes while dieting you feel alone, but because of this site I never do. I always feel like I have a place to vent and share with people who are going through the same things I am going through. So thanks everyone, and YAY ME!! Stall is over. :jumpjoy:

Thats amazing you stuck with it, thats a long stall. I would have quit for sure! Congrats!

I did too! I started out doing SO great, from 202 to 175 was really easy...then I got stuck. I'd get down to 173, then the next day it'd be 176.8 or something. I was stalled for a good 6 weeks too! And not ONE TIME did I cheat. Stuck on plan religiously.

Last Tuesday night I went to see my stepson and his girlfriend perform at a club (they're singer-songwriters). Had 2 captain morgan cokes, and I never drink...much less something that "carby", but I did. The next day had a peanut butter sandwich on a single slice of 15 grain, as well as a fast food breakfast burrito. That was the extent of my going off plan. The day after that, I was down 3.2 pounds, stayed very close to 20 net carbs each day and have lost a further pound since. Go figure. But yeah, a 6 week stall is SO frustrating!!!! I wasn't going to quit though, I knew this works and it was only a matter of time before I'd push through. Congrats again! Breaking a stall is awesome! :jumpjoy:

What foods did you guys add to increase fats. I have been stalled between 210-207 for about 4 weeks now.

For me, I am a coffee fiend. Gotta have a good 3 or 4 cups to get me going in the morning. I use sugar free Coffee Mate Sweet Italian Cream in mine. I go kind of heavy with it too :P I cut it in half and added heavy cream to make up the difference. Also, with my morning omelet, I usually do one with peppers and onions and cheddar. I've started adding a glob of guacamole to it. Other than that, I can't think of any fats I really have added lately.

Hi mdog

For example , instead of eating a bun less double hamburger, I would go for a single but make it a bacon cheeseburger.

Chicken Caesar with full fat dressing instead of chicken with a large garden salad.

If you find yourself having more than 5-6 oz lean protein at a time, maybe drop to that level and add some fat.

I had scallops last night which are a lean seafood but we caramelized them in butter until perfection, so tasty and satiating.

You may need to look at your veg intake and go with mostly VLC instead of denser ones. It's hard to advise accurately without seeing your menu.

I'm in a "bounce" right now, up and down 2 pounds for the last 2 weeks. I was ready to give up, but will stick around after reading your post!

A bounce...lol, that's a good term! I cannot WAIT to see the scale drop below 17_ because I'm getting SICK of that number...blew through the 190s and 180's no problem, but the 170's is a bugger.
