CNN article about couple putting food on a diet....sounds like low carb to me

So CNN posted an article about a couple losing weight by and I quote

Now reading the article. Sounds ALOT like they went low carb...

That's funny...it clearly states that they replaced/ "minimized" carbs to replace with healthier veggie based options, yet the reporter concludes it was swapping higher calories with lower ones. Normally that would be a semantics issue, but clearly in this instance it is not.
Like low carb is a bad word in some way.

Sigh. More low calorie propaganda.

Seriously, how is this NOT low carb?

Which as we are learning, are unfounded concerns. But there was no counterpoint to that comment.

This stuff frustrates me.
