If you will Google "Atkins and Ramadan" you'll find lots of forum discussions, both here and on other popular LC forums, including one I recall over on the Atkins official forums, that discuss how to manage your food consumption during Ramadan.

I have low carbed during fasting. My advice is "plan" ahead.

I am not Muslim but do know many who eat within a window of time as a way of eating. For example, you may be interested in some of the intermittent faster forums. Many people choose to restrict eating to designated windows of time though not for religious reasons. One poster only eats meals during periods between 4:00 and 8:00 in the evening. I could see those ideas as helpful.

I agree, that sounds like a potential resolution. I sort of went that route during Ramadan last year. Kept it up for sometime afterwards.

Is it from sunup to sundown that you can't eat? I normally eat one meal a day at around 7 pm, which is not sundown yet here, but I think it wouldn't be a problem. I actually think that it would be much easier to do this eating low carb than if you were eating carbs. I know I could never get away with one carby meal a day.
