all these years I've been an inch and a half taller than I thought!!!

Ummm, if you already read this, skip over... lol I know I wrote about it somewhere a couple of days ago, but I don't know where.

BUT a week or so ago I ran into someone who had just been measured at the doctors as 4'11 1/2" and I said, oh we're basically the same height. And this kid's dad was standing there and was like, no way! you're a couple of inches taller. And he was right. I took my kid to the doc today and asked them to measure my height and I am 5'1 1/2"!!! I have thought I was 5'0" since I was 30 and they measured me at the doc. I told them they were wrong, I was 5" 1 3/4", d*mnit!!! And they were like "nope!" So I figured they knew what they were talking about.

I gotta say that this is a way easier way to improve your BMI than losing pounds. This brings me down from 31.something to

D. R. U. M. R. O. L. L......

29.6

I still think the whole BMI thing is BS, but still, it is kinda exciting to get out of the obese category. I really did not think there'd be a time that I was not technically obese anymore.

Ya know, my posture has changed a little. I've been making a conscious effort to improve it bc I have forward neck posture. But I don't think I had FNP when I was 30, so I don't know if that could be it. I kinda think they just didn't do a good job of measuring me back then. Maybe the nurse just misread the measurement somehow. I was dumb to believe it so whole-heartedly, since I knew I was 5'0" before that.

Shelly, Are you still "overweight"? Your two inches taller and 12 pounds lighter, you must have like a pound to go or something to get to that elusive healthy weight.

Whoa Rocket Queen! That is Tall! Sam's still growing and omg eatting like he's got a hollow leg! Lol all of my husbands side of the family are tall. My 12 yr old daughter is 5'7 so she'll probably grow some more Lol.
Jayne as of right now i'm still considered "overweight" by maybe 1-2 lbs! Kinda depends on which BMI calculator I use. Lol
