I don't get it...
I'm down about 6 or 8 lbs. I'm not retaining water because I'm running to the bathroom at least every 2 hours, and there is no hormonal explanation.
Yet, as I sit here I am feeling HUGE.
It's one of those I wish I could wear sweatpants to work days.
But I can't figure out why???:dunno:

I know sometimes I feel huge and expect to see a gain and actually have lost. I know how you feel.

On the flip side, I have days too, when I feel and look real skinny,...well skinny in *My world* that is :laugh:

I had a similar reaction to my body when I started trying to lose weight. When I was at my fattest and was in gain/maintain mode I was in total denial about how big I was and how much weight I needed to lose. But, once I started losing I actually really looked at my body and all of a sudden I felt huge and wanted to be at goal yesterday.

I've decided that all of my weight is escaping through my belly button. I get thinner at the poles, but the equator doesn't budge. So, as my knees get thinner my thighs look bigger. My thinner wrists make my upper arms especially bingo-flappy. My smaller boobs (wah!) make my gut seem bigger.

But I'm getting smaller. I just can't "see" it myself.

My DH calls this phantom fat syndrome, similar to phantom limb syndrome. Some days, it just seems that people still feel and see the fat although it isn't there...
