How long does it take to show up on the scale...

Ok, so I know low carb is a little different because we are talking about water weight etc. but, I was always under the impression that it took about a week for you to see changes on the scale, idk where I got this from maybe weight watchers? But I know a lot of you say that you weigh in daily to keep you food in check, to know what stalls or makes you gain.
The reason I'm asking is because I worked out (for the first time) Friday and Saturday, then yesterday I only had 11 carbs, drank lots of water, today I'm up a lb... Could I be retaining water from working out or could it be something I ate before yesterday?

Yes, you could be retaining water in your muscles from working out, since it is a new thing for you.

I'd say it's from the workouts too.

Don't worry about it... if you're like me, you'll be down 2 pounds tomorrow.. but still weigh every day. If you're at all like me and you don't weigh every day, then you'll think you can cheat and the scale won't ever know. Stupid, I realize it, but I wouldn't be the weight I am if I didn't have some stupid thoughts that needed to be corralled and changed.
