Have you ever been sabotaged?

The other day, I ordered an unsweet tea at a restaurant. I bring my own monk fruit with me these days. :)

Anyways, after eating some hot chicken wings and salad, the wait staff refilled my tea with SWEET TEA! - dun dun duuuunnn....

Unfortunately, when it was brought to the table, I chugged 1/3 to 1/2 of it before realizing it was sweet. :(

Turns out, the people who made the Tea in the back reversed the tanks.

So, besides a warning to always "trial sip" your beverages before chugging them, does anyone else have a story regarding intentional or unintentional sabotage to your low carb eating?

People make mistakes. I always taste before I leave the drive through or do more than sip a drink in a restaurant. Takes only a second, and it's helped me several times over the years.

I've never experienced intentional sabotage.

How could you not notice right away? Sweet tea is so sweet!
But, mistakes like that happen frequently.

Sometimes I tell the server that I have a sugar imbalance, so please be extra-careful that it is unsweet tea. It isn't really a lie, because for me, my dietary sugar is balanced when it is zero.

I've just gotten in the habit of saying, "That's unsweet, right?" when they come to refill my glass.
Lots of restaurants use different colored glasses for unsweet tea and diet cokes, but not all of them.

Technical lie at least?

Okay, it's a lie. :) I'm okay with that.
