I'm drinking celestial seasonings blueberry tea with butter

And it tastes just like blueberry cobbler. No kidding. I'm having a Willy Wonka moment.

Actually it sounds pretty good. I don't like bulletproof coffee --I like my coffee black.
But I might like the tea. I have that sampler pack with blueberry, raspberry zinger, wild berry zinger, wild cherry, and peach.

I love butter or coconut oil in my teas, all different kinds and they all taste amazing, especially camomile!

I've got to start trying fats in my teas....I LOVE my BPC, but am trying to cut down on coffee for sleep reasons. I did try the chamomile with butter and it was VERY good...currently have some Teavana herbal blueberry and I toss some butter in it today.

I can't seem to get enough fat without putting it in my coffee, so maybe I can get used to putting it in my tea.

Thanks for all the ideas!

I don't like coffee, and just drink tea occasionally. However, after all the posts about BPC, I decided to try it in my tea. I really enjoy it, too. It will be breakfast if I'm not terribly hungry. I have to be careful though because too much does seem to stall me.

Anyway, this is my favorite concoction....

I add butter, HWC, Torani sf chocolate syrup, and a couple of drops of liquid sweetener to some peppermint tea. Put it all in my Ninja and blend it up. It forms a nice creamy foam on top and tastes like peppermint hot chocolate. My kids even ask me to makes this for them. Mmmmm.......

I don't like green tea, so I'm trying different flavors. Does green tea still offer health benefits when combined with butter, sweetener, etc?

Yes, that is how I blend my bpc.

I will have to try the tea! I have lots of yummy flavors in my cabinet. Just never thought of that.

chacun a son gout!

i am too old to make such drastic changes. I began to add cream to my tea (not herbal or green)in 1983. that was the last new trick this old dog learned. Enjoy! Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI

I like chai spice tea with coconut oil, so I guess it makes sense. Which one do you think would be better...butter or coconut oil?

I need to go back to drinking the tea with oil in it, but it's about 110 degrees here! LOL

Blueberry tea sounds great to me (I love blueberry cobbler coffee!) but I don't want butter or oil in my beverages. It just doesn't appeal to me.

I think that it depends on the tea, but I think the fruit flavored teas taste best with butter.

I like this Healthy "cool aid" tea recipe:

5 fruit or berry tea bags (Celestial Seasonings) Zinger tea bags include "Red Hibiscus" which helps to lower blood pressure.

Steep 5 fruit flavored tea bags of your choice, in 4 cups of boiling water for 5-6 minutes.
Add 4 cups of cold water. Mix in 1-2 tablespoons of Braggs Cider Vinegar. You might want to add 1 tablespoon at first, but I like to add a little more.
Sweeten to taste. Chill. Serve over ice cubes.

Where do you buy the blueberry tea? Is this black tea with w/blueberry flavor or we are talking about herbal blueberry "tea". TIA.
