Did I hit the jackpot ir no

While at the dollar store today i came upon gourmet syrups called cafe al fresco. They have hazelnut, vanilla and carmel. 0 carbs, 0 calories, 0 sugars. Zero evrrything except 15 mg of sodium. Now for the ingredients. Water, nafural and artificial flavir, cellulose gum, sucralose, sodium acid sulfate, citric acid, sodium benzoate, & potassium. Yay or nay????

I believe that last ingredient would be potassium sorbate, a preservative.
Not bad. Might be less intense/more diluted than the more expensive stuff, but I'd say try it, without changing anything else in your plan, and see if you do okay on it.

As always with stuff that isn't real food, I try to use just enough to keep me happy, and not overuse it.
As an aside, I was boggled at my friend's powdered coffee creamer use when I shared a beach house with her this week. In my opinion, it is best to limit that sort of stuff because there's no nutrition in it.

I Love the caramel one! So good and cheap! I use it sparingly when I can find it. You reminded me Lol so i'll have to see if our dollar store has any :)

I like it! I added the vanilla to my BPC coffee this morning in lieu of sweet and low and it was awesome! Hooray! Gonna try the carmal tomorrow. I got both. I don't like hazelnut, so I didn't get that one. I only had to use a little also.

I found them so diluted they were about the same price as the others. but not horrible as long as what you are making can take all that extra water! have fun.

I found them at our Walmart for a dollar! I love the Hazelnut flavor! :jumpjoy:
