Almost went through a pants size in a week...

I knew I was right about at that point, since I've done this loss before, but I have this certain weight that I hit when all of the sudden the majority of my fat loss is coming from right at my belt line. This week evidently kicked off that phase of my weight loss because between last weekend and today, my current pair of shorts went from being on the cusp of almost too tight but comfortable, to now where even after a fresh wash they are all but falling off by the end of the day.

It's funny how it took forever for me to go from size 46 pants, to 44, then almost longer from 44 to 42, but these size 40 shorts are all but ready to fall down without a belt. I know it'll slow down again at 36-38 (as it always has for me in the past), but it's still a fun time when I get to see nice losses in my mid section.

Gosh, I'm so jealous! I've been wearing a size 16 for like 25 pounds. But this gives me hope that I'll go through 14s or 12s a little faster.

Many people compare it to a paper towel roll. It starts off big and you can pull a lot of towel away without noticing much, but the closer you get to the center, every paper towel you take off shrinks it a lot quicker.

I like that.

I broke down and bought a bigger swimsuit this season. I think this weekend is the last time I'll wear it because I'm afraid it's gonna fall off from being too big.

Thanks everyone. Although I would have liked to have been a bit lower by this point in the summer, I certainly can't complain since this is the lowest I've weighed in 2 years, and the overall healthiest I've been in nearly 8 years (last time i lost weight down to 200 pounds I did it on a 700 calorie a day diet and lost a lot of muscle).

I find it a bit of a bummer that swimsuit season will likely be over by the time I'm close to my ideal weight, but I guess that just means I'll have a bunch of months to try and build a muscle filled beach body for next summer! Although the winters as a skinnier guy tend to be a LOT colder without all that insulation! But I live in San Diego, so it won't be TOO bad!

Nope, I actually cut out the cardio this week to help heal the joints. My daily meals have been mostly a lunch wrap consisting of flat out light wrap, turkey lunch meat, cheese, mayo, mustard, and shredded cabbage. Dinner has been mostly baked cod or tilapia split between 2 la tortilla factory low carb tortillas with shredded cabbage, and a white sauce I made containing sour cream, dill, cumin, white pepper, lime juice, and garlic powder.

I never eat breakfast, but if i get too hungry before lunch around 11:30, or hungry late in the evening after 9ish, I'll eat a fat bomb and that tends to satisfy me. I drink lots of water and crystal light.

Awesome. I enjoy reading threads and posts like yours. They encourage me to contiue this WOE even when im frustrated after seeing very little change or unintended gains. But I am determined to live this WOE and unleash the skinny-guy within me (well, at least a skinnier-guy).
