Anybody else have a salty taste in their mouth?

I've been on induction, usually less than 15 total carbs a day for about two months now. I'm familiar with ketosis breath, but for the past couple of days I've noticed that my mouth tastes salty, no matter how much water I drink ( and believe me, I drink a lot.)

Everything else is fine, I feel great etc. I just thought it was weird....

Do you have allergy symptoms or the sniffles or sinus troubles?
Post-nasal drip can cause a salty taste.

I have had that taste, not sure what it means. Some people report a metallic taste.
I have increased my salt intake recently, seems to work better than just P for stopping leg cramps. But I don't see a correlation with taste in mouth, as I haven't noticed it recently.

I am a saltaholic. Hence my craving for fatty meats. When new into this woe I found I could detect a lot of differnt tastes in my mouth not just from foods . Lack of sweet intensifies many tastes . I definitely had a salty taste and a salt craving when In Ketosis

Thanks, all. I do have allergies,an they've been worse lately. I' ve never noticed a salty taste from drainage before, but I could just be noticing tastes more...and I am eating a lot of salty things. Could be one or all of the above. I'm not going to worry about it though, because otherwise I feel like a million bucks!

I've had that salty taste in my mouth since I started a LC woe and I've wondered if some call this "metallic?" and it's the same thing as those of us who call it salty. Hard to know what people mean when they describe flavors.
