I know what you mean about the clothes... I have sizes from 8 to 22 in my closet. Gonna need a new closet soon! It is sad

so true . . . I am more likely to look at myself now that I am losing some . . . . eek! I am also more likely to try on and dispose of clothes when I am losing some, and also now that it is really finally summer temps where I live.

Any good systems for cleaning out clothes. Don't tell me get rid of anything I haven't worn in a year! I think I will start with how does this item of clothing make me feel? Other ideas?

i've never found bacon to be an appetite supressant ... i've eaten a whole pound myself for breakfast and was hungry by lunch. the only appetite supressing food i can think of is peanut butter which will allow me a 5 or 6hour noneating window, BUT i have to eat at least 1/4cup for it to be effective so would defeat any weight loss for me.

Full fat greek yogurt.

I was in a rush yesterday morning and knew we were going out for dinner that night so I just threw a little tub of Fage in a bowl and put some blueberries on top. I ate that at lunch time and was barely hungry for dinner.

I use Fage if I can find the full-fat kind, otherwise there is one with a Greek name I can't remember and a cow on the tub that is pretty good too.

The sugar you see in plain yogurt (the plain, unflavored kind) is milk sugar. There is a theory that the milk sugar is consumed by the bacteria in the fermentation process to make yogurt.

I and many others have found it fits well in an LC diet. Everyone if different though, you would have to try it for yourself.

I just got home from the store. The brand is Greek Gods and there is no cow at all.

The green tub is the full-fat plain.

I kinda thought having a cow on the label would be counter-intuitive for yogurt!!

I was getting mixed up with the brand my son likes- Brown Cow. It does, it fact, have a cow on the little tub.

Exactly. If I'm unsure about an item of clothing, I wear it for a day. By the end of the day I know If I want to keep it. Some things were bought because they were big enough, not because I loved them, and wouldn't have bought them at a good weight for myself. Other things aren't at all worn out, or still fit well enough, but I just know after that day, that I don't want to wear it anymore.

I'm English and buy a lot of clothes from the UK brand Boden. Johnny Boden says that clothes should make you do a happy dance before you put them on - they should delight you. I think it's far better to have a few items of clothes that make you feel good even before you put them on than a closet full that bore you and do nothing for your body

Only steak really works for me. If I eat a steak I am full for hours. However, I do use hardboiled eggs when I am starving and trying to get through until a meal.

I have noticed that when I have "unusual" hunger. Like when I eat my normal foods and am getting hungrier earlier and more intensely, it generally means that I am about to have a nice weight loss. So, knowing that, it makes it a little easier to get through those days.
