GAAHH!! Work today...

I came in and there was at least 3 dozen enormous assorted bagels and a few different kinds of danish in the kitchen. Then a consultant came in who I do a lot of work for and to thank me he brought me a bunch of chocolates!


Its so tough to avoid this stuff when its in my face constantly.
I brought ham and egg cups this morning so I put a bunch of sharp cheddar on them and that helped me to avoid the bagels and danish.
Even though the chocolate he brought me is my absolute favorite (HOW DID HE KNOW?!?!) I am going to go drop them off with the secretary so I dont even have to look at them. Conicidentally said secretary is one of those ridiculously lucky people who can eat absolutley ANYTHING she wants and still be a size 2. She can eat the candy, Im gonna stay on plan

Woo hooooo good for you!!! I definitely know how that is... I have so much of that in my face constantly at school and that's gonna be something I'll just have to start dealing with in a better way when I go back at the end of the summer. But I plan to hold my ground Goodbye vending machines!

Congrats on resisting temptation! My office has donuts a few times a week! The Krispy Kreme Boston Cream donuts are the hardest for me to resist. We also have a lady who bakes gourmet cupcakes a few times a week lately. They always look and smell so good! I try to just avoid the kitchen area in my office! I also keep LC chocolate and almonds in my desk for emergencies.

I hear ya. We constantly order out at work. Teriyaki, Pho, Pizza, Blizzards, bagels, subways, gyros, you name it, we have it in our area most nights. I keep a few "emergency" snacks in my locker at work as a just in case.

I used to feel bad about scrapping toppings off pizza. Not anymore. Toppings off, I lick the crust, and into the trash it goes.

way to go: "regifting" the chocolate! i keep a bar of lindt 99% cacoa on hand at home so i can come home and have a "decaf mocha latte" on those days when i've been soooooo tempted by all the goodies at work. i just keep telling myself that i have something better waiting at home, this usually keeps my sweet-tooth in check.
