confession time.

since i retired, i have not been a model low carber. The reasons why are not worth rehashing. Beginning on June 1, I will be getting back into the groove. I shall NOT be doing the full 14 days on Induction, but 7 days only. My chief challenge, is getting back into physical activity. Until 6/1, I will be cutting down on the breads etc. I will throw out anything high carb that is left before I go to bed on 5/31/13. I am already taking vitamins. Wish me luck! With the hot weather just around the corner, I need every advantage.I HATE HOT! Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI

Absolutely, the best of luck to you! A good thing I see in your post is that you are planning this out, going about it w/thought and method. This means you'll need less luck, because imo, planning is everything w/a successful low carb diet.

When I was eating lots of carbs, I never thought too far ahead about my meals, just grabbed something fast and easy if the hubby wasn't cooking. That's much harder to do w/LC, so it takes some forethought. I usually plan my menu for the day first thing in the AM, which gives me time to pick up an ingredient if I need it for dinner. Planning also comes in when you're going to a restaurant for dinner. I go to the restaurant site and choose my menu before I get there, which helps stop any spontaneous cheats.

Good idea w/the vitamins too. I think you're getting ready and set, then all you have to do is go! Hope you join us around here, this place is A LOT of help.

I'm restarting too. I know from before when I was successful at staying on gluten free low carb program, it helped to check in with my friends on this site. Let's encourage each other.

Good for you! Just like going off plan for a bit leads to going off plan for a period , going on plan leads To BEING on plan! I find going back to induction really easy especially when you already know what to do!
