Minor set back
Hey guys! Hope everyone who has the day off is enjoying it :)
So, I was kind of feeling like a failure yesterday. I started induction on Monday 5/20/13. So as of today, I have been following Atkin's for a week now! I made it Monday-Saturday with no mess-ups whatsoever. Then on Sunday, I went out of town for the day to visit some family. Of course there was so much "good" food around that it was really hard for me to handle. I haven't been keeping any junk in my house so that's made it a lot easier to follow plan. But, anyway, I ended up cracking and I had a brownie, a cookie, some milk, and some tortilla chips with cheese dip. I felt really bad about it! After all, it's only my first week so to crack that early in the game is preeeetty bad :sad: I was worried that it would hinder all my progress, but when I got on the scale this morning I weighed 185. I started at 191 last Monday, so I've lost 6 pounds! It feels really good but I'm very, very surprised that it didn't create a problem. Does anyone know why this would be? Will the carb-filled things I had catch up with me soon?
