10 days in...10+ Pound lost!!

I started the morning of 5/18 with a weight of 276. As of this morning, I'm at 265.4 That's 10.6 pounds in 10 days!

I'm not reading an Atkins book, so I won't say I'm doing strict induction, but I've had nothing to drink except water and splenda tea since 5/18 and no real snacks. I'm keeping it plain and simple. If I start to stall, I'll revisit and make changes if needed.

I'm not much of a poster, but I always find great support and advice here.

Congratulations!! You clearly are doing something right. I would however, encourage you to read a low carb book anyway as this is a lifetime commitment and you need to prepare yourself with knowledge. KUTGW!!!

Oh I've read them Clackley I've done low carb many times before. I'm just not staying strict by the book this time. As many times as I've done this, I pretty much know what I can eat and what I can't. Thank you though! The previous times I've just got caught up in the trying every new "snack" recipe that came along. That usually leads to problems for me, so this time, there is none of that. The only recipes I'm making our those I've had before with no problems-just main meal and side dishes recipes though.

Ahhh, I should have caught your start date...you are a long standing member. I got the impression from your post that you had not read a low carb book but I understand now. I understand about consuming the low carb foods that can be had and made a little rule of thumb for myself which is they are for special occasions only. I LOVE cheesecake but only make it for my birthday and Christmas. My birthday is coming up soon and I am looking forward to that cheesecake!!!

Thanks everyone! I know in time this loss will slow down, so I'm just enjoying this for now.
