I appreciate the concern as to my calorie intake.
I can tell you that I feel great and have alot of energy.
I've steadily added muscle, and except for a recent spike in my trigs and
total cholesterol, all of my heath related numbers are excellent.
I'm particularly happy that the inflammation indicator number
(can't remember the name) was very low.
So, I'm fit, strong, energized and healthy.....My skin is clear, my hair (what's left of it) lOL shines and so on.
In short, my nutrition and exercise routines are working extremely well.
There is absolutely no reason to increase my calorie intake and I have no intention of doing so.
I wonder if by posting this I gave the impression that I'm struggling or in some way
in distress. That is not the case. I'm happy. I look good, feel good, having loving relationships, and am close to God.
My pants are a little snug and I want to lose another couple of pounds.
It's not the end of the world.
I truly believe that by cutting back on my HWC intake those pants will fit better.
I say this because dairy has slowed my progress in the past, and because my belly area always goes down a little when I drop a couple of pounds.
I'll keep y'all posted as to the results of my daily weigh in.
And please always know that although I may not agree with every suggestion,
I truly value all of them.
LCF is the best diet/nutrition related forum on the web.
It's because of the people.

Ill be sad to see them go. I have 14s that are too small and too big, and just a few that are just right. I have several 12s that I can fit into. I am resisting the urge to buy anything more until the summer sales hit and I will try on (not order on line unless I KNOW the fit).

Sorry to hijack the thread, I am off now!
LOL I raised and owned horses and my worst nightmare is my food triggers.
I was laughing when I read that!

you sound just like me with the clothes situation!! I am holding off buying also.

avid if you figure out the hwc intake in calories, be sure to increase real chewable food when you cut that back. any man exercising, a calorie range of (say) 1500 is still very low to me. but one has to do what one wants to do

your body will not release easily if there is not enough food energy being supplied.
many people have upped their intake of cals. by a little and the weight dropped off again.

I know you will easily do you want to get where you want to be! You are a success.

Here are two pictures I took today.
I think my profile looks pretty good.
Not what anyone would call fat, but not what anyone would call skinny.
Three more pounds won't change the look, but it may change the feel.

Well you look great! You really need to celebrate your accomplishments. Someone told me recently that they thought my body was ugly and I looked better when I was fatter. I was really mad at first, because of all the hard work I put into losing all the fat I had on my body. I spent most of my childhood and teens hiding my body in baggy clothes and swam with tshirts on over my bathing suit. What child has to do that?

But then I realized I should celebrate my progress on my own, and not worry about what other people think. I treated myself to a big birthday present. I am going to compete in a woman's figure competition and I don't care if I come last! There are not many bodybuilders that can say they were big and fat as children.

I think that is what you should do now, celebrate how good you look now and what you learned to get to the place where you are now. It is so important to enjoy the ride, instead of focusing on that end result. We do too much of that in our society.

This may sound a bit mad, but it's been decades since I've been proud of how I look. It would be a shame to get this close to really being proud of myself and not finish the job.
GO FOR IT! To feel that accomplishment of reaching your goal AND being proud of how you look is worth the struggle to lose those last few pounds.

I'm 5' 6" tall with a small frame.
135 pounds is by no means light for my size. The photo's prove it.
I recently did some genealogy lookups.
My dad who was about an inch and half shorter than me,
weighed 117 pounds when he was inducted into the Army.
Yes, he was thin but it just goes to show you how our concept
of body proportion has changed.
If I were to get to the low 120's people would be screaming at me that I was
"unhealthy" and too thin....Punkin can relate I'm sure.
But if one could turn back the hands of time and look at a 124 pound version of "me" through the perceptions of the 1950's they wouldn't look twice because I would look fine.

Avid, I can relate (all too well) to the overwhelming desire to lose "just a few more pounds..."

I'm not judging you, as I realize that our desire to be at 'goal' is very personal.

I do have to agree with MaryMary:
