I want to thank the farmer

I lost 80 pounds in 2008 on Atkins - I did not have a cheat day for over a year. Begining in 2010 or so I've gained 44 of those back slowly and decided 4 days ago enough was enough and to back low carbing. I forgot how much better I felt then and am feeling again. I forgot how good a T-bone steak slathered in country butter tasted. I forgot how satisfied I felt after eating LC.
I would like to thank that farmer for the delicious beef and butter I had for dinner today-in addition to his beef I'm gonna try his chicken, pork, lamb in so many LC ways.

I am also grateful to the animals that give their lives.

This reminds me of that Superbowl commercial that was Paul Harvey reading a tribute to the American Farmer. :-)

We buy our meat and eggs at the farm where it's raised. We get to see the conditions the animals are raised under and we have a personal relationship with the farmer. We pay a lot more, but I think supporting this kind of agriculture is an important key to leaving a healthy future for my children.

If you value it, support it. We started small, just buying pastured eggs. Even that small thing is important and doable for most.
