Just .3 more to go...
Got on the scale this morning and was at 170.25! My lowest yet, and only .3 lbs away from finally getting into the 160's :jumpjoy: I have not been in the 160's during my adult life and I can't wait to hit that goal. I did try and jiggle and hold my breath, and stand on one foot to see if I could get it to budge just a bit more, LOL, but nope. :hyst:

My last few months things have moved very slowly, maybe 1-2 pounds a month. And I know that's because I'm so close to goal, and that's ok! I'm thrilled to be were I am. My original goal was 175. I hit that and changed it to 169. And I think now I would ultimately like to get to 165. If I can hit that then I would be in the "desireable" BMI range for my frame. (at least on the chart I use.- they seem to vary so much)

Congrats!!! You are sooooo close!!! I want 169 sooooo bad as well. I've seen it one time for one day in the last 4 years :( For my height 169 is officially a "normal weight" I know that doesn't really matter but it's important to me for some reason.

You must be so excited, and congratulations!

Like you, I got to my higher goals first, celebrated them, kept going, found it to be slower and slower, but still kept going. So don't let the 1-2 pounds a month discourage you, because those slow and gradual 1-2 pounds a month will get you all the way there. You may have seen me say this elsewhere, but I lost the first 48 pounds between Jan. and mid-October 2009, and then the next 20 pounds took another 10 months. You won't be sorry if you keep sticking with it. I hope you see the 160s soon!

Thanks everyone! I'm so thrilled because I know this time it's for keeps! I'm not on a "diet", and won't be going OFF a "diet".
