Family is meeting at IHOP for Mother's Day breakfast... So I went to their website and decided on the simple and fit spinach mushroom omelet ( 330 calories and 31 carbs- due to side of fresh fruit). I as blown away when I looked at their entire menu with nutritional data - a steak omelet that I would normally order is more than 1200 calories. You can stay low carb by eliminating hash browns, pancakes, toast and fresh fruit, but still....! Also read that they put pancake batter in their omelettes!

Oh ... Forgot to mention that I'm golfing after breakfast and church, will have a protein shake during golf and a frozen Atkins meal (beef merlot) for dinner. After reading about the Atkins frozen meals, I found them and bought one of each and I'm planning a week of "nutrisystem-like" days with planned meals and snacks. So far I like the frozen meals. I'd had a bad "off plan" day on Friday and need some portion control tracking and accountability for a few days.

Breakfast- coffee

Lunch - I found a recipe in the recipe forum for a cream cheese/ egg pancake thing. I'm going to try that.

Dinner - bought a whole chicken at the store that I'm going to roast with lots of butter and lemon. To be served with mixed veg and salad. That should last me for a few lunches this week too.

Going out Outback Steakhouse in a few. Didn't eat breakfast, got up late. I already figured out what I'm getting, steak and grilled shrimp, green beans, broccoli, 11 net carbs. IF I can't stay away from the Bloomin Onion and that's gonna be rough!!

YUCK! Lunch was SO gross. Both the noodles and the almond milk mixed w/ flax seed... Going to continue experimenting with the shakes, but i'm pretty much over those noodles.

L: Thinly shaved prime rib, topped with a slice of melted Havarti, and dipped in horseradish sauce. I also had a cup of beef vegetable soup. Ice tea to drink

D: If I have any, it will be around 8:00. The special tonight is halibut with a sauce and grilled asparagus. I might have that
