Loving it!

So, I've been doing SB for over 5 weeks now. I had one cheat day last weekend for my son's b-day throughout this entire process. I teeter now between a 5 lb weight loss and a 2. Of course I was like a lot of people and thought by now I'd be at my goal weight as I didn't have much to lose. But I'm still about 7 lbs. from the first goal. But what totally amazes me is how great my abs look! I can actually see the making of a 4 pack! And this after three pregnancies! Some nice side definition going on as well and also in my thies and legs - the muscles are more pronounced. I can feel the difference in my body. So while the scale hasn't really moved, without a doubt, this WOE is working.

I really really wish I took before and after pics darn it!

So to those out there who are getting discouraged, take solace in knowing there is some good going on in your body even if the scale doesn't reflect it. And I highly recommend taking a before pic and doing some form of exercise!

Yep -- the scale isn't the only thing we should be using to gauge our progress. I am going to take pics every week to help me stay focused.

Congratulations on your progress! And thank you for posting. I was about ready to throw in the towel! I have been doing LC since April 1 and am only down about 6 pounds. I thought it was going to be like the last time I lost. Boy was I wrong. But thanks to you, I measured myself and am steadily losing inches. Not a lot.....just about 1/4 inch in each area a week. I guess I'll settle for that! Thank you for reminding me!!!
