I haven't had any nuts but have thought about making a groc run to buy some black walnuts.

Off topic, but does any one have a suggestion for a good scale. I am thinking I need to weigh things like nuts if I am to have them in my diet down the road.
By good scale I mean accurate AND easy to operate.

Demonica, were those english walnuts? I have lots of black walnut trees and the nuts are super hard to crack.

I'm not sure what kind they were. They came off the trees at the local park. I just picked them up off the ground. I don't even remember how I cracked them because it was so long ago.

Maybe I should buy some black walnuts I tried them once and never ate them again. There were so pungent. I could never binge on them

That's my thinking, too.
A little flavor goes a long way.
Not today, but maybe tomorrow I'll give them a spin in my fat bombs instead of almond butter and see if I can forestall my mini binge of last week.
