splenda

Where dose one buy liquid splenda.Netrition doesn't carry it.

I think most people use EZ-Sweetz which Netrition does carry. It's liquid sucralose, assuming that's what you're looking for? Unless you mean the actual Splenda BRAND liquid sweetener.

I buy a brand called sweetzfree, which you can google. It's stronger than ez sweets, so it's less expensive over the long run.

I also use sweetzfree, it lasts me 6 months to a year (the 4oz bottle) and I have a BIG sweet tooth, I use it daily. one drop is as sweet as a packet of splenda. I have not tried ez sweets but i hear it is also good, and yes, netrition does carry that.

PS the reason i use the liquid is because the filler in the packets has carbs (about .5 gram per packet) and as I said I have a sweet tooth and really dont want to add extra carbs to my coffee, protein drinks, yogurt, etc

Yes, the maltodextrin adds extra carbs, and it's corn-based, so I try to avoid it. I'm allergic to corn, and maltodextrin causes a minor reaction.

The four oz bottle lasts me a long time, too, probably about 10 months to a year. It's funny, though, my mom and stepmom use it too, and I order for them. I have to order the four ounce bottle for them about every two to two and a half months! It's crazy. They aren't LCing, and they eat raw honey and other sweeteners, while I use the sweetzfree about 85% of the time (and a Splenda based SF syrup the rest of the time), but it still lasts me forever.

I can't purchase any liquid specialise here so I get it from eBay, shipped from USA. It's expensive doing it that way but the reduction in carbs is worth it. I just discovered in the supermarket liquid stevia, the company manufacturing it is Hermasetas who usually sell saccharine which I don't like, so once I've scrutinised the ingredients to make sure they've not snuck saccharine in, I might give it a whirl :)

I purchase mine in amazon

muncheechee 03-25-2013 06:34 AM

Wal-Mart carries ez-sweetz too

Shrinkingviolet 03-25-2013 06:44 AM

There's a double strength type on eBay called 'crazy sweet' or something similar, it's very good.
