finally a small victory for me! :)
I just had to share because I'm so excited! :jumpjoy: I tried to start exercising about a month ago when I was 181.0 pounds. I took my four year old scootering for an hour (him on scooter, me on foot), which was not horribly strenuous, but he does go pretty fast, so it at least got the blood moving (which is what I'm looking for bc I know that exercise is not about weight loss for me). The next morning I had an insulin reaction which requires carbs. And then I think I had one each of the next two mornings... and then, once you start having lows it just becomes a rollercoaster and everything goes out of control and it's nightmarish. So, I ended up losing the SAME FOUR POUNDS probably four times. It was soooo frustrating!
But today I was below the starting point! 180.2! :jumpjoy: Never before in my life would I have had enough patience to get through that calmly without abandoning the whole diet thing. Plus, I've managed to exercise three days out of the last five. :D
Now, whenever I post about any sort of victory, I usually fall off the wagon shortly thereafter, so I'm going to make a pledge not to do that. :o
