Happy TUESDAY, what are you eating?

Hi guys and girls! GOOD MORNING sunshines! I hope everyone had an amazing Monday. I did. Down 10lbs from the start (since 3.4.13)

My eating plan will be off today, not off plan but simply I only know a few things I'm going to eat today because my sister and I are going to St. Louis, MO for a concert. It's 4 hours away so eating out will be what's for dinner.

B: 1 egg, 1 sausage, 2 bacon
L: LC Pizza (leftover)
D: It's up the to discretion of my sister. I'm a nice sister.

Have an amazing Tuesday loves!

Hey! Forum newbie here, great idea to share what we are eating!

B: eggs, bacon and sausages
L: grilled salmon fillet, cauliflower mash, buttered green beans
D: tuna and a little onion in mayonnaise, salad

For snacks I may have a little Greek yogurt sweetened with Splenda, or devilled eggs. I always eat Greek yogurt in induction and it doesn't stall me, for which I am very grateful! I also drink tea with soya milk. I love Atkins, I am never hungry!

Sure thing! It's nothing special, but it tastes GREAT and is SO easy! I think I got the idea from an old thread I found here actually... it reminds me of those old cream of chicken Cup-A-Soups I had as a kid, only without all the crap they put in those pre-packaged pouches

Basically all I use is the Better Than Bouillon Lower Sodium Chicken Base and HWC. You can use the regular chicken too, I just prefer to watch my sodium a bit

1tsp of chicken base per cup of water in a microwave safe cup, and microwave til hot (about 1:15 on my microwave). Stir to dissolve the base, and then I add anywhere between 1-2 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream at the end

It's not very thick at all obviously, more like a creamy broth... but I bet you could heat it over the stove instead, and stir in some Xanthan Gum or Glucomannan Powder (or other thickener of choice) and that'd thicken it up for you! I'm just lazy and the microwave is so much easier. And having loved those processed Cup-A-Soups from my childhood, it sure hits the spot!

Oh, I almost forgot... per cup if you used the lower sodium base and 1.5 tablespoons of HWC, it's:

90 calories, 3 (total) carbs, 9 grams of fat, 1 gram of protein, 508mg sodium, and 1 gram of sugar

Lies!

Had a pouch of tuna w/a cup of shredded cabbage and some soy sauce, nuked in the micro, and a cup of hot & sour soup (made from a packet of Mishima hot & sour soup).

Think I will also have a white chocolate iced blended coffee (made myself).

You're welcome! I hear the other flavors are great with it too, so feel free to experiment Not so much beef, but I hear there are lobster and other seafood flavors that go really great with HWC if you enjoy chowders or things of that nature. I'm thinking of getting some langostino lobster meat if I can find it, and mixing that with the lobster base and HWC to try and mimic a low carb version of my favorite Red Lobster soup!

You'll LOVE the cream of chicken though if you enjoy Cup-A-Soup, believe me. SO much tastier and so much better for you too!
