Low carb off and on for 2 years....

So I lost 50 or so pounds when I did LC a few years ago, but started to cheat more often once me and my wife got divorced last year, so thus, the weight sloooooowly came back on. I really want to pursue kickboxing and Jiu Jitsu, and I want to get in the optimal shape for it...plus I am a waiter and the better I look, the more money I make hopefully you guys will let me lean on this community in times of weakness!

Welcome aboard! I did the off and on thing for a number of years, until I finally realized that even though a lot of people can have a "cheat meal" and get right back on track, I'm just not one of those people. One cheat completely derails me. But that's just me. I hope that you're able to find what works for YOU, and these boards can be very helpful with that. Good luck!

Welcome back to low carb!!! As you have seen in the past, it does work!! Besides, we want you to get the good tips. I had to laugh at that because I have never tipped more for looks. Maybe, it was because you had more energy and you felt good about yourself and it shows. I tip more for excellent service, a smile and an up beat waiter. Dining out should be fun!

BBurnett! Life sometimes has a way of throwing a wrench into the works! Congrats on deciding to take back some control!

This group is awesome, one of the very best out there IMO.
