I don't believe this is true now, if it ever was. Possibly back in the 80's when they were first in our area. I remember going once back then before becoming a member to see what it was like. I asked once about this, in the last year for someone else and they said no.

I am sad.I would love to join something like this but our only equivalent here you have to prove you are wholesale(at least a bed and breakfast)Individuals can't join.

Love Costco, I spent over $300 last weekend, eek! I love the place. They have a great return policy. Low carb stuff I buy includes: organic ground beef, precooked Hormel bacon, frozen Jones sausages, marinated wild Alaskan salmon, pork shoulder "country ribs", coconut oil, nuts, Italian sausages, babybel cheese, butter, eggs. I'm sure there is more I'n not thinking of.

Question - are Costco samples considered real food that must be counted into daily carb/calorie/whatever counts or are they freebies?
