Samoas are the only Girl Scout cookies I buy, and I love them! I used to buy a few boxes and keep them in the freezer. They are so good.

I haven't had any in a few years now, but I'm mega impressed with you keeping them around and not eating them!

I went to the gym this afternoon and found I had lost 4 lbs! I had no idea!

The husband lost 8. And he isn't always doing low carb. He wasn't totally on board before, now he is! Awesome!

I found a really inexpensive gym (part of the city parks dept) that is super basic but has baby and kids classes for free. We are going to start making it a Saturday tradition.

Plus, it was a bright, not too cold, sunny day, and we got to walk and play in the park for a few hours. So nice.

I'm sorry if this is too long!! I started up Yoga in September, but only Restorative (slow, stretchy, amazing body wringing, muscle awakening, relaxing). Later, I decided to try Hatha - adding strength and a little more movement, which I also loved. After a couple of months of that, I decided to try Power Yoga, which is fast and hard!! I have been doing that for 4 months now, and there are quite a few positions that I can't do, being a bigger, older, been out of shape for years type of gal. Anyway, there's one move where you start in down dog (bent over with your hands on the floor, and your legs out a few feet, stretching your hamstrings) , lift one leg up into "scorpion", turn your leg back and over, then flip over into "wild thing" which is basically a crab position with one arm stretched out - then flip back over into down dog with scorpion leg, and chataranga - plank position lowering down to the mat - keeping the leg up. I was able to do this for the first time!! I went through the rest of that class with the BIGGEST GRIN on my face...I've been trying and trying, but my mind has kept me from letting go, and finally success!

Oh, that and I have been faithful to my WOE for 2 months straight with no cheats, and even cut out all artificial sweeteners!! Plus I added weights to my workouts. If this is the toot your own horn thread, I'm doing it I guess!!

My dad and I went to a buffet this afternoon because he LOVES buffets on weekends and LOVES for me to go. Anyway, this is my favorite place to eat as well in my HC days, you can also order off of a menu. I ordered a 10oz steak and never looked back

Hooray for small victories

I'm proud that I didn't go out and eat a whole cake! I was "poisoned" by my waitress at dinner. I had diet and she gave me real! Aaacck! I swallowed it before I realized what was going on. A couple hours later all I could THINK about was sugar. I had to call my LC/weightloss buddy to talk me off the sugar ledge!

I'm so proud of you but SO disapointed in the sort of help these restaurants have these days. What happened to paying attention to detail? What if you were a diabetic? (maybe you are) and that would've sent you into some sort of shock or make you real sick? Shame shame shame. This is why if I order say for instance diet soda i swish it in my mouth first before I gulp it down or I just order water, hopefully they wouldn't get that wrong. Super proud of you though!!! I know that must've been super hard!

TODAY marks my THIRD week back on plan WITHOUT cheating or a bump in the road. I'm extremely proud! I've been trying to get back on the wagon for 2 years. I haven't weighed myself but last time I weighed I was down 12 lbs from March 4th...YAY!

Nah, just taste it first. I always always always taste test my soda to make sure it's diet, especially if I'm in the drive through. I stay right at the window and taste before driving off. 99% of the time, it's fine, but I've caught a mistake a few times.

Servers are busy, and human.

I'm proud I just went ahead and ordered my Les Mills Body combat dvds from amazon. I haven't been taking them at the gym for a while, and I've put on about 50 pounds I need to get off. I just want to work out when I want to, not at a specific time.

Way to go everyone!! This thread makes me proud to be a part of lcf

I'm proud of myself because last night I REALLY wanted something sweet, but instead of eating my body weight in dove chocolates I sliced and cooked an apple in butter and cinnamon with half a pack of sweetnlow and hwc added a couple chopped walnuts and some whipped cream on top. It was so good it tasted like apple pie with melted ice cream. Yummy!!

That sounds good but apples are too much for me sugar wise! If you can handle them..then that's awesome! It's mother natures favorite time of the month for me right now and I've been craving sweets (TOM is my worst time ever with cravings and this is my first one back on LC). I made some (12) mini LC cheesecakes and froze them. Those are the best on sweet cravings and only 4 carbs each WHOOHOO!! I only had a half of one today.

My current favorite for sweets: marscapone cheese whipped with cocoa powder and truvia. It's so rich and tastes like the best part of a tiramisu.

This is my first attempt at apples so I'm not sure how I will fare. I definitely won't eat it everyday, but I figured since it was a gala apple, and they are pretty small, I might be ok. If my body is ok with it then I might make it a once a week treat. Whatever helps me stay on plan is my motto

I am proud of not having any Crystal Light Green Raspberry Tea (well, any CL for that matter, but my pseudo-addiction is to that particular flavor and the only one I drink lol) for almost two weeks! That's the longest I've gone in years!

I haven't made any promises to give it up, but I told myself I'd reduce it/cut it out as much as possible until my stockpile (dang sales before I started this way of eating) is depleted.

Continuing on this theme: I had sinus surgery on Tuesday, haven't eaten off-plan once since I started back on January 3, and I've been tempted a few times. I really wanted French fries this afternoon, after a difficult and painful visit to remove the packing in my sinuses. But nope.

Also, I've been in a big bouncy period with my weight, mostly (I think) due to this intractable infection and related illnesses. I haven't lost a pound in almost three weeks. This pattern is fairly normal for me, but I'm in pain so I'm more easily frustrated, and I really wanted French fries (sense a theme?), but I thought about the interview Dr. Phinney gave about keto-adaptation, and I just decided that I wanted to continue to be in ketosis, so I would go home and eat my ketogenic food and be done with it.

I'm proud of myself.

Here's a funny one. I dreamed about pizza the other day. Pizza and French fries are two big ones for me, as you can see. Anyway, this dream was full of pizza, focused on pizza, I was in the middle of a pizza parlor, smelling all kinds of good floppy NY pizza that you fold over to eat. The dream was so focused on pizza that it took me a bit after I awakened to realize that Bill and Hillary Clinton had driven me--personally driven me!--to the pizza parlor.

And in the dream, I didn't eat the pizza.

I was so happy with my subconscious!

Completely non-lc related, but I was able to finish paying off all last year's taxes, and was able to pay this year's bill before the 15th!

Come the end of May I should have just one small bill left along with my student loans (which I'll be paying on until I'm dead anyway).
