My house is full of binge worthy food...
M husband brought home left over donuts from work, including a vanilla creme, which is my favorite.
There is a bag of soft pretzels on my kitchen table. A bag full of chocolate bars in the cabinet. 6 individual size cups of chocolate ice cream in the freezer. And I binged on...dried pineapples and prunes! ![]() ![]() I had a bad taste in my mouth from eating chicken stuffed with cheese and jalapenos and wrapped with bacon and I wanted something to take the bad taste away. I thought a piece of pineapple would do. If I wake up to 5 lbs of water weight gain and cravings tomorrow I am going to be so upset! I rarely binge...I pride myself on my will power! I won't eat anything more... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I can relate as I've been hosting out of town guests and held a birthday celebration in my home this week. Leftover birthday cake = binge fantasies.
I'm encouraging everyone else to eat it all quickly! |

I think we've all been there before... probably way too often too (although it would have been the chocolate ice cream that got me, I'm pretty sure!) so I can definitely relate. Stay strong, and try not to beat yourself up too much over it! In a way, when I go a little overboard on something I know I shouldn't have had, I find it HELPFUL when I notice a negative response in my body for it. That probably sounds weird, but I think if I DIDN'T notice a jump on the scale or a difference in the way I felt, I'd probably think I could get away with it and my old (and terrible) eating habits would probably slowly creep back in until they took over again.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you though, and I definitely hope you don't have a difficult time tomorrow! Just remember... our mistakes don't define us unless we let them ![]() |
