Food Brokering
Hello All
I have been off and on Low carb for a decade or so. Last few years not successful at all, no one's fault but my own. I blame the lousy job i had and the stress related. I now have a great new exciting job for the last 6 months as a food broker and have gained about 15 pounds. I am in front of food constantly trying to sell it and not to mention all the time out of town eating at restaurants, shmoozing customers etc... I am commited to starting again and getting these pounds off! I wanted to reach out and see if there are any other brokers out there or other foodies struggling with job related issues. It takes an enormous amount of self control to avoid carbs with this job and I'm just getting restarted. I have to do it this time. No excuses... Love this board, it's very inspiring! Tired of Not being true to myself in Fort Wayne, IN

Hi AdeCafe, I don't work around food, I can imagine how hard it would be
. I just wanted to say you can do this! You need to keep it always in your mind why you are doing this. Is that food (whatever it is at the moment) more important than you? nope. Also, if you do eat something not on plan, try and burn that off within a couple of hours of eating it if possible. You are way more important than food. Good luck and keep us updated on how it is going |
