I wouldn't worry too much about the calorie intake - I would just concentrate on staying hydrated. Maybe you should call you doctor to get a prescription for an anti-emetic.

I know how that is and it really sucks and I'm sorry you're sick There are a couple of options here. 1: Eat what you feel like you will eat, which may be high carb: that might give you the calories, but also might make you feel more sick from the higher carbs. 2: don't worry too much about counting carbs, but eat somewhat low carb foods--you probably will stop losing, but you will feel better just from eating. Might I suggest some chicken soup with carrots and lots of veggies and spaghetti squash? Do you have someone who can help cook for you?

It's definitely worse to stop eating and drinking, you need to heal up, and then worry about getting back to being on a perfect plan.

Again.... chicken and or beef broth is the best for 'healing'. Lots of water (a bit of lemon is good). Try an egg drop soup when you feel like you could hold some solids.

Feel better!
