Making smoothies to take for lunch-best way?

Hi, I bring my b'fast and lunch to work. Wondered what the best way is to make a smoothie to take for lunch if you have to make it a few hrs earlier in the AM? Any tricks to making it last well? There is a fridge at work.
Don't have a blender at work but does anyone know of a portable mini mixer that would work when blending protein powder and fruit or veggies?
THX!

If you blend it at home, a shaker bottle should be sufficient. Or and jar/glass with a tight fitting lid that you can shake :)

Cheaper version of magic bullet "type' blender or the single serve cup blenders that are about 20 at places like walmart would be good and inexpensive enough to keep at work in a desk drawer.

shaker cup that has a mixer built into it is also a good idea as mentioned above.

What I have done in the past is to make the smoothie at home the night before - get it all blended as you normally would. Then place it in the freezer overnight so it gets super hard. The next morning, take it to work and put it in the frig. By lunchtime to mid afternoon time, the smoothie would have melted down into the correct consistency and just needed a little stir with a spoon to get it all smoothed out.

I really get tired of the usual breakfast foods at work( cafeteria)so I have a small blender at work. I blend almond milk, protein powder, stevia, 1/4 c of berries and ice together for a change. Although, I have noticed, I really get hungry before lunch with the shakes. It doesn't hold me like a veg omlet.

I blend spinach, frozen strawberries, water, stevia and sometimes cocoa powder in the morning at home, put in a cup with a tight lid, and keep it in the fridge at work to drink in the afternoons, works great., and tastes like dessert, don't taste the spinach at all.

My blender is 20 years old, and I learned that the blade mechanism fits on regular mouth canning jars. So I fill a canning jar with smoothie ingredients, put on the blade and collar and blend away. Then put on a regular canning jar lid to take it to work (just shake well before drinking). I knit little "sleeves" for the jars so they don't knock around in my lunch bag. I have a fridge at work to keep it cool. My own, homemade "magic bullet".

I was given a little Isa Blender, which is the bullet style, and for making smoothies. It works great.

I make smoothies in the morning when getting ready for work. I use the mini blender that comes w/ several cups/lids. I blend dannon oikos greek yogurt and frozen strawberries, flax, maybe some peaches. I put the lid on stick it in my freezer and hope I don't forget it on my way out the door! LOL I get to work and put it in the freezer til I'm ready for it. I let it sit on my desk for around 15 minutes then I can get the lid off and enjoy a frozen drink!
