Gained 5#!!
Really? I haven't cheated, it's not that time of month. I don't get it. New rules are no eating after 6pm and cut back on the cheese. Cheese is the only thing I can think of that would do it. I have had more the past few days than usual. But I love cheese!! ![]() Thoughts? Suggestions? I'm drinking PLENTY of water like usual. Oh, I did have a lot more coffee yesterday at work, would that do it? I just don't get it!! |

Article: Why the Scale Lies
My weight jumps up like that fairly often. It's clearly not fat, just keep eating correctly, and it'll go back down. |

I have to watch the cheese intake, too. I think it makes me retain water - and with a five pound jump, I'll bet that's what is going on.

I doubt you've gained five pounds -- it's probably water retention.
But I really have to watch my cheese consumption, too. It's one of those auto-stall food for me these days. |

Have you started exercising? I gained 5 lbs. when I exercised for the first time in a while a few weekends ago. It came off quickly though.

yes--- water retention----3500 calories = 1#-----so times that by 5 and you would of had 17,500 calories and you know you didn't

I have read that one ounce of cheese can have up to 10% of the recommended salt you need for the entire day! Who eats just one ounce of cheese!?!?! When I eat cheese I will also retain water. I bet you do, too. Stinks, doesn't it.
