New here and Feeling Fabulous!!!!
Hi All,
Just want to introduce myself. My name is Tina and I am 47 years old. I have been on Induction for 6 days and for the past 3 I've been in ketosis. I have lost a bit of weight but not as much as I had envisioned. I will say that as of yesterday I have been on a "high" not sure exactly why, but I'm not complaining! I have also just started exercising. I am using Leslie Sansone's walk away the pounds. I walked 3 miles yesterday and 2 miles today. I have approximately 100 pounds to lose, so the road is long but I didn't put the weight on overnight, actually over the last 19 years with each of my last 8 pregnancies and have never really lost anything before I became pregnant again. I am looking forward to this season in my life and want to say thank you to all here for posting such encouragement for others. Tina |

Welcome, Tina. I'm glad that you are feeling good and off to a great start.
I hope you visit and post often. Consider joining a challenge group and visiting the Century Club part of the board to give and get additional support and encouragement to others. Also, post any questions or concerns (or landmarks to celebrate) here, as they come up for you; people here are happy to help and there's lots of knowledge and experience on this board. |

Welcome, Tina. Lots of folks expierence a high when they get into ketosis. I feel anxious at first but after a week or two get the high. Take advantage of it! Lol

![]() That ketosis 'high' is a fantastic thing. I know how it can feel to be starting out on that 100 pound (or more) journey but remember you can't lose 100 without losing 1 first... Then 2... Then 3... |
