one change for March
As I was typing my other post, I realized tomorrow is March 1st. I thought it would be good to "refocus". I want to make at least one healthy change in March that may help me achieve my weight loss goal. I think one change and thinking just for the current month is not overwhelming and can help me stay the course.
MY CHANGE: I want to exercise on my treadmill (walk and run) 3x a week for at least 40 minutes each time. What is your one change for March? |

Good idea!!
I am going to try to curb my "need" for something sweet after dinner. I made a bunch of cheesecake clouds and while back and keep them in the freezer. Every night I've been having a couple...most nights I try to not have one..but they keep calling to me! LOL I'm going to try to kick this habit for the month of March. |

no "grazing"- eat my 3 squares and one snack ( if needed) daily.- amazing how much you can mindlessly munch on in a day ......

Luca - you have read my mind !!! Yes !!! March has finally arrived and I'm looking forward to warmer days with more sunshine !!! Go away winter !!!
March is National Nutrition Month - so I will "try" to keep that in mind as I feed myself and my family and stay POSITIVE about my expectations of the number on the scale ! |

I'm adding squats to my workout routine. I hope to be doing at least 50 a day by the end of the month. I keep reading how squats are good for the butt.

Re add the coconut oil back into my diet (had some animal related issues and been staying away from it)

I'm stepping back from all the measuring.
I was tracking all my food in an online tracker. Testing my blood ketones every other morning. Weighing daily. I was getting so stressed at every little fluctuation in the data that I was driving myself nuts. My weight actually started going up. Giving up the scales/measuring for a couple of weeks to see if I resume losing. |

I'm giving up artificial sweeteners. And I'm going to avoid the scale until Friday to see what happens. I'm a daily weigher, so this might be hard.
I'm going to also try simplifying my food for two weeks - induction-esque, just to give my brain a break. I was obsessing, and cutting out a bunch of options might help. |

I am not going to weigh myself till March 31st...my birthday! Usually I weigh every day, and that number dictates what my mood will be for the day...that will be my change for March
