Or eat a spoonful of coconut butter (such as Artisana brand) if you can't tolerate coconut oil from a spoon. Magnesium supplements also help.

To help things 'move', try 250-500 milligrams of magnesium with water in the evenings. You should be 'moving' along the next morning. That helps me.

It gets better, hang in there. You will feel great in a couple days from now. For now, just eat off the Induction food list and drink lots and lots of water.

For the headache, drink a couple of cups of broth* each day. Your body needs more salt while in ketosis. I usually take a nice salty cup of bone broth midmorning and midafternoon. It works FAST to take out the headache.
Make sure to drink extra water also and top up your potassium and magnesium. An avocado or a bit of NoSalt for the potassium, plenty of greens or some magnesium citrate for the magnesium. If you get commercial broth, make sure it isn't low sodium! |
