I love pizza! I still don't understand why it's served on those inedible triangle-shaped carriers.
I'm a little cautious of anything with too much tomato, as I FEEL LIKE it's a higher-carb food. (Up there with onions and garlic as "allowable, but watch quantity") Mostly, I think, because some brands of jarred spaghetti sauce add sugar. But yes... I rock the pizza buffet when I go! One caution I've found: Although I USUALLY do great at ignoring the crust (ie: the inedible triangle), I've found that places with REALLY GOOD pizza coat the crust with olive oil, and somehow, this makes it easier for some of it to get into my mouth. So when we go to our favorite pizza grill... I've learned to order a burger. ![]()

CiCi's pizza used to make a crustless pizza if you requested it. Just all the toppings in the pan pizza pan
I haven't been there in years, but it was such a good idea, shame it never caught on! |

I do that when we have work meetings at peter piper pizza all you can eat buffet. Usually pull the toppings off the pizza and put it on top of the salad. Pizzalad!

Yep. Pizza toppings are still our friends. Well, my body doesn't like the salt, but I still have them sometimes.
lol @ the topping carriers and that olive oil makes it more likely to get into your mouth! lol |

I ate the toppings off of a slice of store-bought pizza yesterday and I could take the remnants of sugary sauce in my mouth afterwards. I was expecting a gain and my keto stick to not measure as well as it has been but it was ok so you should be okay, just don't over do it. The sauce is super sugary.
