We just got an Aldi last month!! I can't wait to go there. I am on vacation next week so I will have time to stop by. Usually I try to avoid that area since it has a lot of traffic on weekends.

Love that peppered bacon from Aldis, but it is hard to get around here. I have two Aldis near my job and they almost never have any. Next time I see some I'm getting 6 packages and freezing it!

I live in Hollywood and they don't have them on this side of the country.
The food here even at the cheap stores is twice as expensive as Aldi.

Produce selection is small and often doesn't look great so I usually buy that somewhere else. Lemons looked good even though there were only about 10 left -- was surprised!

One thing I didn't buy did drool over -- a block of white cheddar cheese with dark chocolate in it!! Has anyone tried this?! Carbs were very low and it was $2.99 (don't remember the size -- maybe 8 oz.).

I love Aldi's and was just there earlier today. Got some eggs for $1.19, so much cheaper than the average grocery store. I also picked up some fresh veggies and a carton of sour cream.

Michelynn.....be glad you didn't get it. I bought it because it was unusual and low in carbs. Anything with chocolate in it HAS to be good right? Lets just say, it was unusal and low in carbs. Lol. Not to say I won't eat it but wish I hadn't spent my $2.99 on it! Just my opinion. Someone else might love it!

I just found organic unsalted butter for the first time this week at Aldi's. Hope its a permanent thing!

Thank goodness they have withdrawn horsemeat in beef products. I never bought any of their frozen "beef" products.

It will depend on what section this was in. where they keep their butter or in another section. They often has special buys that are not permanent things. I am surprised they are still carrying hwc as usually this is a seasonal thing as is bullion cubes.

I shop at Aldi's weekly there are things I get there as it is always a better price. Their cheeses, pecans, walnuts and so forth but there are other things that just isn't all the much less in comparison to Walmart store brands, I am sad to say.

No not a big bulk store at all just more of a grocery store with their store brands more than name brands with an occasional special buy here and there of actual name brand items

I love buying cheeses, eggs and creams (sometimes veggies) at Aldi because they are SO much cheaper and to me, the quality is still great!

I sent my kids (16 & 19 yo boys) to the store the other day for a few things and they went to Grocery Outlet so they would have money to spend on ice cream.

They are actually much smaller than regular grocery stores. If you have been to Trader Joe's they are about the same size.

A few things to note... Either bring your own bags or pay for them there. They usually have some empty boxes if you want to use those. You also need a quarter to use the carriage, but when you put it back in the stack and lock it up the quarter comes back.

Here, they have the best, freshest, cleanest, reasonably priced produce section around!!!

There is a, what I call, "high end" grocery store near-by. It is immaculate, well stocked, and an abundant of hard-to-find items, however, their prices pale in comparison to Aldi!!!!!
