Back on induction

Had a serious bout of bronchitis, really sick, unable to do the cooking for several days, so the family did. Needless to say they really didnt help me with my diet. So now Im back to stage one and afraid to get on the scale

I also went back to induction foods this week...my weight has been creeping up slightly and I just feel that my hormones are running amuck making it worse (menstrual cycle every 21 days instead of 28 and terrible cystic acne all of a sudden) Hopefully eating cleaner for a couple weeks will straighten me out.

It is hard though because I have been trying to make Maria's Healthified bread from a post I have seen. It is for my daughter, and I am trying to get the perfect combo to make it turn out without too many holes...I will be able to taste test it after my 2 weeks of induction food and enjoy it myself then also.

My daughter has started to eat lower carb because she has low blood sugar symptoms...not confirmed but get jittery and irritable shortly after eating carby food...this doesn't work well when you HAVE to go hours without eating do to your job...she works in surgery...she has noticed a big difference already.

Good luck to all of us.

Well don't be hard on yourself. You have to get better. I am sure you didn't eat that much while you were sick. I recently went through it with a two run of the flu. It was hard to shop while sick. Just get on induction and skip the scale this week. I am sure everything will be back to normal soon.
